Who We Are
The team at Steel Rail Security is comprised of dedicated Information Assurance professionals with over 10 years of experience working with the NIST SP 800-53 control set. We have utilized these controls and the Security Requirements Guide model from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to produce Standard Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across a wide range of technologies. Our team holds top industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and the ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Steel Rail Security is committed to creating a high-quality product that can be used by both Federal and private sector organizations to reduce risk by deploying hardened and secure products into their environment.

Our Mission
At Steel Rail Security, it is our mission to create the highest quality hardening guides that can be utilized to lockdown and add a layer of security to a wide variety of products on the market today. Our guides are rooted in the NIST SP 800-53 control set and based on the same Security Requirements Guide (SRG) model that DISA utilizes in their STIG development process. Our goal is to take the stress of interpreting, assessing, and addressing the requirements off your design/development/engineering team(s), allowing them to continue to innovate and preform the functions they were originally hired for. The team at Steel Rail Security will deliver a final product that addresses all the relevant Federal requirements in a document that can be easily understood by management and implemented by your customers.
